Die Schutzmaske Avon Protection PC50™ basiert auf den weit verbreiteten Masken der 50er-Serie und wurde entwickelt, um Schutz in gefährlichen und kontaminierten Umgebungen zu bieten, die ein robustes, im Einsatz bewährtes und preislich wettbewerbsfähiges Militärprodukt erfordern, das den operativen Anforderungen entspricht.
Dieses Gasmasken-Set umfasst:
- PC50™-Atemschutzgerät mit Luftreinigung
- Ein CTCF50-Aufstandsagentienfilter
- Ein Sonnenschutzaufsatz
- Ein transparenter Aufsatz
Der PC50 ist in drei Größen erhältlich und verfügt über links- oder rechtsseitige 40-mm-Filterbehälteraufnahmen, die herkömmliche oder konturangepasste Filter aufnehmen. Der standardmäßige Kommunikationsanschluss ermöglicht die Integration in vorhandene Funkgeräte. Der PC50 kann mit einem Sehhilfekorrektursystem und verschiedenen Aufsätzen für spezifische Einsatzsituationen ausgestattet werden.
Die US-Regierung verfügt über bestimmte Steuerungen über das PC50™-Atemschutzgerät mit Luftreinigung und untersagt den Export, Verkauf, Transfer, Transport oder Versand des Produkts außerhalb der USA, ohne zuvor die Genehmigung der US-Regierung einzuholen oder sofern dies nicht durch US-amerikanische Gesetze und Vorschriften gestattet ist. Diese Beschränkung gilt unabhängig davon, ob sich das Produkt in seiner ursprünglichen Form befindet oder in andere Artikel integriert wurde. Dieses Produkt unterliegt den Export Administration Regulations (EAR) und ist als 1A004 klassifiziert.

Performance
The PC50 is approved for use with the CTCF50 Canister providing protection against CS/CN agents in both vapor and aerosol form and particulate matter. The PC50 is also approved for use with the CFP100 Canister providing protection against particulates only. And NIOSH approved (TC-14G-0316) (TC-84A-9233).

Sizing
Please select the correct size according to the sizing chart found in the photo gallery for this product.
- Clean-shaven faces are required for the Avon FM50™ to fit properly. The gas mask and filter should form a tight seal on the face to ensure protection.
- Facial hair, sideburns, bangs and headwear may prevent a protective facepiece from forming and/or maintaining a tight-fitting seal on someone’s face. It is recommended the user be clean shaven and/or hair pulled back for sizing and using the respirator to ensure an appropriate seal.
- Use the negative pressure test to confirm the right fit for your gas mask kit.
- Put the mask on your face and breathe out.
- Block the inhalation valve and take a deep breath.
- Specifically for the Avon FM50™, you will need to block both inhalation valves before taking a breath.
- The mask should then collapse to the face.
- If you experience a tight seal to your face, then the mask has the right fit.

Warnings and Limitations of Use
- Always perform a negative pressure leak test before using this respirator mask with filters.
- This gas mask with filters is not suitable for use in confined spaces such as stills, tanks or sewers. This device does not provide supplied breathable air.
- If you have facial hair or wear glasses, the mask may not seal properly, reducing its protection.
- Do not use this respirator mask in environments with low oxygen (less than 19.5%) or in areas with airborne contaminants/pollutants the filter can't protect against.
- Do not use this gas mask and filter in oxygen-enriched atmospheres (> 22.5% Oxygen).
- Set up, check, donning, doffing, clean, and maintain the gas mask kit in a clean area free of contaminants.
- Do not use if any system component demonstrates signs of wear or damage.
- Do not use in areas where the head harness may be exposed directly to flame.
- The Avon FM50™ filter canisters provided with this equipment do not offer protection from smoke or carbon monoxide.
Misusing the gas mask emergency kit can cause serious harm or death. Avoid these actions:
- Using the gas mask with filters for firefighting.
- Modifying, removing or re-configuring any of the system components other than as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Attaching unapproved equipment or accessories to the respirator mask with filters.
- Re-using the equipment without appropriate decontamination or following impact or tear damage without inspection and testing, even though contamination or damage may not be apparent.
- Using the gas mask and filter with non-approved filter canisters.
